Make a one-tap laundry scene
Tap-to-Run starts heat from the Smart tab without opening the device panel.
You will need
- Airer paired
Step 1 of 3
Open the Smart tab
TAP-TO-RUN
Smart Life · as it appears on the phone
Do this
At the bottom of Smart Life tap Smart.
You should see
Tap-to-Run and Automation lists, plus a + to add.

Create Tap-to-Run
Name
Laundry heat
Task
Heated Airer → On
Smart Life · as it appears on the phone
Do this
Tap + (or Add Tap-to-Run). Choose Tap-to-Run. Name it Laundry heat. Add Task → Run the device (it may say Device) → Heated Airer → On. Save.
You should see
A task list. You can add a phone notification as a second task if you want a reminder to hang the next load.
Tip. Automation is ‘if this, then that’. Tap-to-Run is a manual button — better for wash day when the load is actually on the rails.

Run it from Home
Utility

Smart Life · as it appears on the phone
Do this
The scene appears on Home and on the Smart tab. Tap it when the wash is hung. Still set a countdown so it stops.
You should see
A Laundry heat button on the home screen.
