Numbered instructions for the ABIS Smart WiFi 3-tier — one screen at a time, so you can match what you see in the Smart Life app. These are how-to guides, not blog posts.
Before the app: wall socket on, middle button on the plug, then standby on the airer. Pairing needs 2.4GHz WiFi — 5GHz will fail. The app lists the unit as Other; you rename it Heated Airer after that.

Get started
Download Smart Life, sign in or register, power the unit on, pair on 2.4GHz as Other, then rename it Heated Airer.

Download the Smart Life app
Install Smart Life from the App Store or Google Play — tap a store link or scan the QR. This is the app that controls the airer.

Sign in or create your Smart Life account
Already use Smart Life? Tap Log In with that account. New to the app? Register with email. Do not make a second account.

Power on: socket, plug button, then standby
Do this before Smart Life. Switch the wall socket on, press the middle button on the plug, then the standby safety button on the airer — or pairing will fail and the rails stay cold.

Pair the airer with Smart Life
Your phone must stay on 2.4GHz WiFi for the whole pairing. Add the airer as Other, then rename it on the next guide.

Rename Other to Heated Airer
Smart Life adds it as Other. Change the name yourself so the house, Alexa, and Google all say Heated Airer.
Everyday control
The screens you will use on a wash day — heat on/off, countdown, weekly schedule, energy.

Turn heat on and off from the app
Open the airer panel and use the large power control — this is the screen you will tap most often.

Set a countdown so heat stops on time
Use Timer for ‘heat for two hours then off’ — the practical way to avoid leaving it on overnight.

Set a weekly drying schedule
Schedules turn heat on or off at a clock time on chosen days — useful for overnight or after-work laundry.

Check energy use after a session
Statistics shows kWh for the day and month so you can shorten timers instead of guessing.

Share the airer and add Alexa or Google.

Make a one-tap laundry scene
Tap-to-Run starts heat from the Smart tab without opening the device panel.

Turn heat on when the weather is wet
An Automation uses Smart Life’s weather for your home — rain or a wet day can start the airer without opening the device.

Group control (two airers, one tap)
If you add a second unit later, a Group turns both on or off together. One airer does not need a group.

Add a one-tap shortcut on the phone
Put Heated Airer on the phone home screen so you do not hunt through Smart Life for on/off.

Cycle timing (on, off, repeat)
Cycle runs heat for a set time, rests, then repeats — useful for thick towels without leaving it on all night.

Get a ping when heat turns on or off
Device notifications tell you the airer changed state — useful if someone else uses the house.
If something goes wrong
Won’t pair, shows offline, or the phone is still on 5GHz WiFi.

If the airer will not connect
Almost always 5GHz WiFi, skipped power-on (socket / plug button / standby), or not added as Other.

Alternative pairing (AP mode, slow blink)
For mixed 2.4/5GHz routers: keep the phone on 2.4GHz, use AP mode (slow blink), then rename Other to Heated Airer.

If it shows Offline
Offline means the airer cannot reach WiFi — usually power, distance, or the router moved.
