Power on: socket, plug button, then standby
Do this before Smart Life. Switch the wall socket on, press the middle button on the plug, then the standby safety button on the airer — or pairing will fail and the rails stay cold.
You will need
- Airer unfolded near a wall socket
- The plug on the airer’s cable
- Dry hands
Step 1 of 3
Plug in and switch the socket on
ON
Wall socket on
On the unit — do this before the app
Do this
Put the airer’s plug fully into the wall socket. Switch that socket on. The plug and the airer still will not run until the next two buttons are pressed — that is normal.
You should see
The wall switch is on. No heat yet. No app yet.
Stay on this step. Skip this and the rest of Smart setup looks broken. The app cannot find a unit that has no power.
Step 2 of 3
Press the middle button on the plug
Press once
Middle button on the plug
On the unit — do this before the app
Do this
On the plug itself, press the round button in the middle once. You should get a light on the plug. That is the power step — not the airer’s foot switch.
You should see
A light on the plug. Still no heat in the rails until standby is pressed.
Tip. One short press. Do not hold it yet — holding is only for pairing in the next guide.
Step 3 of 3
Press the standby safety button on the airer
Standby safety on the airer
On the unit — do this before the app
Do this
On the airer frame, press the waterproof standby / safety button (on the foot). It should glow. The rails can now heat. Only after this do you open Smart Life.
You should see
The foot switch glows. The airer is live and ready to pair.
Stay on this step. If you skip the plug button or this standby button, Smart Life will not find the airer and you will think setup is broken.
